Birgit’s career that has taken her all over the world. Following a photographic apprenticeship in Germany and two years freelancing, she won a scholarship to the USA and spent over a year working with a highly acclaimed commercial studio, as well as her own clients. She then ran a successful photography business in Ireland, before moving to New Zealand in 2001.
